Period, menstrual cycle, monthly flow, the curse, Aunt Flow or Barbara (what we called it in high school)...what every you like to call it, it's finally here {side note: we do not refer to it as Barbara any more since that is my mother-in-law's name}. I called Dr. Ashurst's office this afternoon and left a message letting them know. I expect a phone call by 4:00 tomorrow letting me know what meds I will be taking and what appointments I will need to be making. Y'all just pray that the wait is almost over -- not just for me, but for anyone who is trying.
On the home front, WWIII has ended with much groveling for forgiveness. After all forgive is what we are told to do. I'm working on it. Now just so y'all don't think Brad is horrible, he didn't cheat, he didn't hit, he just had a really big brain fart and forgot that he's an adult with adult responsibilities.
Whoohoo, day one! It's be a long time acomin'. Check back later for the game plan.

does it say we have to forgive right away??
glad the war has ended ;). let us know what the dr. says.
becky - i couldn't find a time line for forgiveness...not even in the red words
Why did we call it Barbara?
Barbara was the wife of one of the hunters that would come up and when she had her period she would tell me that she couldn't come hunting becuase she had "problems." So I started referring to it as "Barbara problems" and that got shortened to just "Barbara." We hated it when "Barbara" came to visit!
